The CORNERS Balkan Xpedition came to an end on Sunday 29th of April. The last get-together happended at Molekula, also known as Drugo Mores living room.
Many fantastic ideas sprang from the trip and now everyone is working on putting them to practice. After discussing the further proceedings, the whole crew embarked on a boat trip and enjoyed the sunshine after the snow and rains of the previous days.
The day ended with a public discussion on the role of the Balkan artist in a European context.
Four more days to go and quite a few miles to travel, the artists and researchers of the Corners Balkan Xpedition seemed to have been deeply impressed by Prizren. Read their impressions here and here.
Today, the group will travel to Dubrovnik and then on to Mostar, where the net station is taking place on Španski Trg on 27.04.2012, 12-13h.
Good news from the Balkan Xpedition: no casualties were to be reported after the focus group “People and Society” collectively went to the barbers in Prizren, Kosovo.

Životnice, or life notices, were inspired by the format of the common death notices (osmrtnice or posmrtnice), that you can find on many public walls throughout the Balkans. They serve as a sort of “wallpaper” and are a novelty introduced on the Balkan XPedition.
They were first published in Užice, designed by Škart and written collectively on the bus.
